Calm on set. Precise in post.
I'm Hector Benitez, a Madrid-based filmmaker, camera operator, video editor and colourist. My experience spans television, advertising, corporate events and film, working across both on-set production and post.
I'm strongest when a project needs continuity from capture to delivery: technical planning, camera operation, lighting, editing, colour grading, sound treatment and final masters. I work independently with my own equipment and also integrate easily into larger crews, agencies and communications teams.
Camera work and image finishing are at the centre of my practice. Cinematography is the direction I continue to develop, shaping the way I approach framing, light and colour on every job. I work in Spanish and English and am available across Spain and for international travel.
